CSS cont.

The following is a list of examples we went through in class for grouping selectors as discussed in my last post:

h1

{

color:green;

}

h2

{

color:green;

}

p

{

color:green;

}

to

h1,h2,p

{

color:green;

}

CSS ID and Class

The “#” before the name identify the ID

The “.” before the name identifies the class

The following are examples of identifying the ID:

<html>

<head>

<style type=”text/css”>

#para1

{

text-align:center;

color:red;

}

</style>

</head>

<body>

<p id=”para1″>Hello World!</p>

<p>This paragraph is not affected by the style.</p>

</body>

</html>
